Answer:

Wearing different stones for health or luck..example aqeeq, eye of the tiger or emerald, etc...using such stones to improve your health or sex drive or luck or if you think it gives you protection from illnesses...is MAJOR SHIRK!

If you think that these stones help you do anything by themselves, is MAJOR SHIRK, that nullifies your Islam. If you think that Allah azza wa jal will help you through these things, that is minor SHIRK , and that is bigger than a major sin!

And no way is it a Sunnah! The Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam did not wear such stones. He wore a ring, not because he wanted to look good, in fact, the ring was a seal. A seal that he used when he had letters written to the Kings and rulers of the world.

He was told that they won't read his letters unless it was sealed by him. A wax seal was used when the letter was to be opened only by the intended reader. That ring was used to seal such letters. That is why the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam had a ring. Not because it had a stone or any other thing.

And Allah azza wa jal Knows Best
